Visiting Scholar

Zhoubin Zhu is a professor in the Chinese language and culture college of Sichuan International Studies University. His research fields mainly include: Literary theory and criticism, Comparative literature. His performance is particularly outstanding in the research of Zhang Henshui and contemporary Chinese poetry. At present, he has published four academic works: Acceptance in Doubt: Modern Daily Life in Zhang Henshui's Novels (Guangxi Normal University Press, 2010), Xiao Gang's Research in Comparative Poetics (Jilin University Press, 2014), Village and City in Zhang Henshui's Works (China Film Press, 2015), and Types of Modern Chinese Poetry (Zhonghua Book Company, 2023). At present, his research interests mainly focus on the writing of ancient poetry in modern contexts, as well as the psychological and physiological mechanisms involved in poetry writing. Zhu is also a poet, and he has published hundreds of poems in important poetry journals and anthologies.
