Malavika Narayan is a Ph.D. student in the Department of City and Regional Planning. Her research is based in Delhi and focuses on the emergence, evolution and persistence of particular geographies of urban informal work. Prior to this, she worked with Women in Informal Employment: Globalizing & Organizing (WIEGO) and helped coordinate the Main Bhi Dilli ("I, too, am Delhi") campaign for inclusive urban planning. She holds a master's in Political Science from the University of Delhi and was also an Urban Fellow at the Indian Institute for Human Settlements, Bengaluru.
