Kyunghee Kang
Migrations Graduate Fellow
Kyunghee Kang is a PhD student who studies environmental and climate-related displacement in the Global South, with a particular focus on international protection for the affected populations. Through ethnographic fieldwork in Cameroon and historical-institutional analysis of international regimes, she examines growing gaps in protection frameworks amid a changing climate and explores alternatives grounded in the lived experience of practitioners and communities.
