Assistant Professor, Policy Analysis and Management
Jamein Cunningham's research focuses on the intersectionality of institutional discrimination, access to social justice, crime and criminal justice, and race and economic inequality. As a 2021–22 Global Public Voices fellow, he would like to advance policy-oriented research related to inequalities and social justice.
Cunningham and Rob Gillizeau started the Racial Uprisings Lab in 2016 to create a database of all racialized uprisings in the United States post-1991 with a current emphasis on the Black Lives Matter movement.
