SEAP celebrates its 70th anniversary this academic year (2020-21) with a series of virtual events, exhibits, and other activities.
The kickoff celebration for the Southeast Asia Program's 70th Anniversary was held on September 11, 2020 over Zoom. This was an opportunity to hear from current and previous SEAP directors; socialize and see old friends and acquaintances; raise a toast to SEAP's future; and learn about anniversary events happening throughout 2020-2021.
Elements of the 70th Anniversary include special issues of the Bulletin, virtual exhibits focused on the Southeast Asia collection the Johnson Museum of Art and the Echols Collection in the Kroch Asia Library, and the SEAP Histories Project.
We will keep this page updated with the most recent information for virtual events, publications, and exhibitions. We invite you to explore the many facets of SEAP.
