Our program is under the leadership of the director, our executive board, and affiliated faculty from various departments at Cornell. All of these faculty members represent different disciplines and different parts of the world where Islam has a substantial presence.
Mostafa Minawi studies different forms of imperialism in the Middle East and Northeast Africa. He is the director of Critical Ottoman and Post-Ottoman Studies (CO+POS) at the Einaudi Center.
Eric Tagliacozzo is the John Stambaugh Professor of History at Cornell University. He is the director of the Einaudi Center's Comparative Muslim Societies Program and a core faculty member of the Southeast Asia Program and South Asia Program.
