Alexis came to Cornell University Press in June 2019 as the new acquisitions assistant and Mellon University Press Diversity Fellow. Alexis has a PhD in History, with a focus on the history of Chinese law, and works in both Chinese and Japanese. Some of her other interests include disability rights, comics, and queer speculative fiction.
