Cornell strives to offer courses of study that will prepare students to step out into a complex global community. In addition to its renowned breadth of language courses, Cornell offers a wide variety of non-language courses that devote at least 25 percent of the syllabus to a specific area of the world. Many of these courses fulfill requirements for undergraduate concentrations and graduate minors sponsored by the Mario Einaudi Center's Programs. There are also courses focusing on thematic and development topics that are global in scope but not specific to a particular country or region of the world.
Please note that the listings on database are growing and cannot possibly cover every course at Cornell with international content. Most of the courses currently listed here are associated with the Area Studies Programs of the Mario Einaudi Center. Please contact us with information on other courses, degree programs, and concentrations you believe should be included.
