Application for co-sponsorship funding

SAP is able to provide small grants, calendar postings, local list-serve publicity to organizations and affiliates on campus in support of activities or events featuring the cultures of South Asia. This funding is dependent upon the submission of the on-line funding application and the subsequent submission of an Event Report. The Program is not able to provide any philanthropic funding.

To qualify for co-sponsorship:

  1. All student organizations must be registered and approved with the Dean of Students. For more information regarding this please reference http://sao.cornell.edu/. All others must be a formally recognized Cornell University entity.
  2. All applicants must complete and submit the on-line SAP Application for Co-sponsorship.

Upon submission of a successful application the applicant will be provided with an e-mail outlining the funding pledged in support of the activity or event. This funding will be made available only after the successful completion of the activity or event.

To receive funds the applicant must:

  1. List the South Asia Program as a Co-sponsor on all event publicity in the following manner:
“This event is partially funded by a grant from the U. S. Dept. of Education to the South Asia Program, a National Resource Center.”
  2. Complete and submit in full the Event Report.

Funding will be dispersed within 5 business days of receipt of a fully completed report.
