Eric Alterman speaks on “The Search for a Liberal Foreign Policy”

Members of the Cornell community gathered on Monday, April 22nd 2013 in Lewis Auditorium, Goldwin Smith Hall to hear Eric Alterman, Distinguished Professor of English and Journalism at Brooklyn College and the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism and columnist for The Nation give a talk entitled “The Search for a Liberal Foreign Policy.”  The talk was given as part of the Einaudi Center's Foreign Policy Distinguished Speaker Series.

Kathryn March speaks on veiling at Community College

Professor Kathryn March (Anthropology and Feminist, Gender and Sexuality Studies) spoke on "Veiling Around the World" at Corning Community College on Monday, March 18th. This talk was organized by CERIS (Cornell Educational Resources for International Studies) as part of the initiative to reach out to community colleges in the region.

A look behind the lens: Graduate students tell the story from their time abroad

Each year, graduate students receiving funding from the Einaudi Center and associated International Programs are invited to compete for cash prizes for the best photos taken during their research abroad. The best 14 photos were selected during our annual reception last November and the award ceremony will take place on January 30th at 5pm in the Big Red Barn.

'Engaged and excited' Brazilian students arrive on campus

Twenty-seven undergraduate students newly arrived in January 2013 from Brazil, under the auspices of Academia do Brazil em Cornell (ABC). The pilot program is part of an initiative expanding educational opportunities for Brazilian citizens.
