Outreach Mission

One of the missions of the French Studies Program is to lend its support to the efforts of elementary and secondary school teachers of French in the local area. Our outreach program seeks to support through a variety of means (awards, events, educational materials, etc.) the efforts of teachers of French in the elementary and secondary school systems in and around Ithaca.

In Ithaca and some of the surrounding communities, the French Studies Program recognizes the accomplishments of graduating high school students with awards for excellence in French. The Program has also provided support for special events and outings. For further information, please contact the director of the Program:
