The United States is a leader in the technologies, systems, franchises, management, equipment, and other tools used by the tourism industry throughout the world. U.S. companies can benefit from opportunities for these products in Europe’s travel and tourism industry. In addition, European tourism is a dynamic and growing industry, and sustainable tourism plays a major role in the preservation and enhancement of the cultural and natural heritage in an ever-expanding number of areas, ranging from the arts to local gastronomy, crafts, or the preservation of biodiversity. This workshop is aimed at business owners from the tourism, hospitality, wine or related sectors, and will explore ways to connect your business with the European tourist trade, while looking at strategies for improving local business practices through shared knowledge with counterparts in the European Union.
