A variety of programs are held in conjunction with the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art including exhibits, educational programs, and events and lectures.
During the academic year, the Johnson Museum staff and docents provide a range of educational programs, workshops and tours using the Asian collections for local elementary and secondary schools, teachers, college students and faculty, and adults. The Museum also offers a variety of family programs. To learn more about the museum's educational programs click here.
Through the OMNI program (Objects and their Makers - New Insights), schools can learn more about China and Japan by bringing object-based learning units into their classrooms. Each OMNI unit focuses on a culture represented in the H.F.Johnson Museum's global art collection.
