About EAP Outreach

The mission of the East Asia Program is to enhance the study of East Asia at Cornell and to increase understanding of East Asian cultures in the larger community. Our outreach program is designed to offer useful resources on East Asia to a wide variety of audiences, including elementary and secondary schools, other universities and scholars, the business community, the media, and the general public.

Our programs and services take many forms–from a Chinese New Year festival visiting elementary schools, to an ongoing series of lectures by eminent scholars of East Asia; from our free video lending library to our classroom speakers bureau. The specific programs that are available change from year to year, but the following pages will introduce you to what we have to offer.
