Brian Tauzel
Brian Tauzel wrote -in his freshman year- a short summary of the History of the Dutch Language and Culture program from its inception to the present. He used library sources as well as personal interviews and e-mail inquiries.

Scott Levine
Scott is a senior and has taken Dutch at Cornell over the course of his last three years at Cornell. He secured funds for an all-expenses paid the Zomerkursus Nederlands, provided by the TAALUNIE of the Netherlands and Belgium. He won the first Martijn Zwart scholarship, established in January 2003 for the benefit of students of the Dutch program who go to the Netherlands for study or work and seek to perfect their mastery of the Dutch Language. He also won the Conger Award from the Institute for European Studies at Cornell university for his research on the Integration of Islamic Women in The Netherlands.
