Outreach
IAD Outreach Program extends Cornell’s intellectual expertise on Africa outside the University in a way that expands and strengthens Cornell’s mandate of service. The Program seeks to benefit not only the public good but to advance a reciprocal relationship with outside constituencies in the application of knowledge about Africa.
Developed with support of area K-12 teachers, school district board members, educators, community members and Cornell faculty, the Outreach Program primary objective is to enrich and enhance knowledge about Africa in the larger educational institutions and the community.
