Application for Office Space

Applications for space can be made available at any time. Assignments are usually made at the beginning of the semester. Assignments are made on a semester basis; the minimum assignment is for one semester and the maximum assignment is for a year (two semesters and the summer). At the end of the allotted time, students who wish to remain in their office must reapply.

Priority is given to PhD students who have completed their fieldwork and are writing up their research. Pre-field work PhD candidates and Masters students are evaluated according to demonstrated need.

The ranked applications are then discussed with the Kahin Center Executive Committee Member for final approval and assignments.
