Intensive Nepali

Nepali, the official language of Nepal, will be offered in the Cornell University Summer Session at both beginning and continuing levels. Taught by faculty from Cornell University and the Cornell-Nepal Study Program at Tribhuvan University, this summer program provides an unusual opportunity to develop competence in Nepali.

Intensive Sinhala

Sinhala is being offered in Summer 2008 at the South Asia Summer Institute in Madison, Wisconsin.

South Asia Summer Language Institute

For eight weeks each summer, SASLI offers intensive instruction at the elementary and intermediate levels in a broad selection of the modern languages of the subcontinent, preparing undergraduate as well as graduate students from across the nation for subsequent training at more advanced levels here and abroad.
