Guantanamo Project
The Cuba Working Group is considering a collaboration with Cuban colleagues in the fields of planning and the natural sciences in the Guantanamo region. Among the goals which the Working Group hopes to promote are 1) the restoration of the US Guantanamo Base to Cuba in a environmentally sound condition following the expiration of the US lease on this property, and 2) its socially and economically productive and ecologically appropriate use by Cubans following its return. This page provides some information on Guantanamo.
