K-12 Educator Grants
The Institute offers a grant for upstate New York educators of grades K-12, from all subject areas, including but not limited to social studies, foreign languages, language arts, math and science. The grant is for developing a curriculum unit focusing on Europe. Contingent on funding, there will be four grants of $1,000 plus $125 for travel expenses (per award) in this grant cycle. Funds will be disbursed as professional service fees (teacher compensation) for time and materials required to research and develop a curriculum unit on Europe. First priority will be given to applicants who have not previously received a K-12 Educator Grant award from IES. For additional information, contact Catherine Perkins, IES Outreach Coordinator, at (607) 255-7592 or via email at cp227@cornell.edu.
