Visiting Fellows/Scholars-in-residence
Academics in government, business, academia, and the arts who are working on Europe are regularly affiliated with the IES as Visiting Fellows/Scholars-in-residence for terms ranging from one month to a year. The Institute does not provide financial compensation. Foreign nationals must maintain valid visa status to be eligible.
Individuals interested in obtaining an appointment as a Visiting Fellow or Scholar-in-Residence must have a Cornell faculty member serve as their sponsor. Cornell faculty may send nominations for prospective individuals to the Institute for European Studies at European_studies@cornell.edu.
