Cornell East Asia Series

Published by Cornell’s East Asia Program as a service to the academic community and general public, the series features affordable, quality books, regularly reviewed in scholarly journals: scholarly monographs, translations of literature and major works of literary criticism and social analysis, specialized textbooks, and well integrated volumes of articles on subjects dealing with the cultures of China, Japan, and Korea (North and South). Cornell East Asia Series titles are now available for purchase at our Online Bookstore with secure shopping carts and payment acceptance.

Up to eight new titles are published per year; with over 80 volumes in print; more than 10,000 CEAS books are sold annually, with almost 2,500 copies used as textbooks in colleges and universities worldwide. To keep costs down, authors submit camera-ready copy to CEAS guidelines and are thus responsible for any necessary copy-editing and for manuscript formatting.
