Travel Grants to East Asia
Cornell graduate students working on East Asia are eligible to apply for:
- Hu Shih Memorial Award (for Travel to Taiwan)
- Lam Family Award for South China Research
- Japan Research Travel Grant
- China Travel Grant (Mainland and Tibet)
- Korea Travel Grant
In early spring, the Einaudi Center for International Studies holds a collective travel grant competition on behalf of its area and topical studies programs. If you are planning to conduct research in an East Asian country you may apply for any of the EAP travel grants listed above. Prospective applicants who will travel to East Asia between April 2006 and June 2007 may submit an application to the Einaudi Center for International Studies, 170 Uris Hall. Please note: these funds are not intended for conference travel.
