If you wish to affiliate with the East Asia Program as a Visiting Fellow, you must:

1. Obtain your own source of support ($1,000 start up costs plus $1,100 per month living expenses; $550 per month extra for spouse, an additional $275 per month for each child)
2. Conduct research on China, Japan or Korea in any discipline during your appointment term.
3. Be hosted by a member of the East Asia Program faculty.
4. Request affiliation for up to one year at a time.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Submit, preferably via a member of the East Asia Program faculty, an updated curriculum vitae and a description of your research project during your term of appointment at Cornell. Please be sure to include your proposed dates of affiliation as well. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis; however, as visiting scholar slots are limited, it is advisable to submit your request as far in advance as possible.
