Funding

Cornell University offers numerous fellowship programs for graduate study.  Institute for African Development coordinates two of these programs, specifically directed to African students; the Institute for African Development (IAD) Tuition Fellowship; and the Provost South African Fund Fellowship. Theses awards are designed to provide tuition support to students engaged in full-time graduate studies at Cornell in areas related to African development.  Successful candidates are graduate students from a wide range of academic disciplines who possess outstanding record of academic achievement or proven leadership potential.

In addition, IAD offers information links to external funding opportunities for Graduate Study for African students.
