Travel Grant

The Institute for African Development, in conjunction with the Einaudi Center for International Studies, offers travel grants awards to Graduate students who wish to carry out research in Africa.

To be eligible for these awards, you must be a Graduate student at Cornell University carrying out a thesis or dissertation research in any African country.

To be eligible for a travel grant award, IAD Fellows must have fulfilled all the requirements of an IAD fellow, which include attending two semesters' seminar series in the academic year and actively participating in IAD-related activities.

Only students in good academic standing pursuing an MS, MA or PhD degree are eligible.
